Meet Lisa Buckley
Lisa Buckley writes funny, soft-boiled mysteries about women who are old enough to know better and broke enough to do it anyway. Her heroines are over fifty, handy with a label maker, and keep finding things in other people's houses that nobody meant to leave behind.
She is fond of estate sales, church basement coffee, chest freezers she has no intention of opening, and the particular dignity of a woman hauling somebody else's past out to the curb. She believes most secrets are kept in boxes, and that sooner or later every box gets opened.
